This was a fort on a weekend visit to Ellora Caves and Ajanta Caves. Architecture in India is rustic and impressive but in a different way than in Thailand and Europe. I love looking at impressive structures. Ajanta is some of the oldest and impressive, will post some pictures from there soon.
It is amazing what man can do when we put our mind to things and can get the support of others for projects like these. This is the single most powerful aspect of being human, the ability to create change and to act on our choices. It is what makes us human and creative and a God-given gift. How we choose to use it is really our free will in action with immensely beautiful or destructive results. It’s always good to check what is constructive and what tends towards destructive elements.
What we create can lead to awesome consequences and much of it depends on what we choose to do how we use what we have created. Often ancient civilisations can create technologically advanced structures that challenge our view of primitive! These kinds of places can inspire us to think of what legacy we will leave when our time on earth is done… Back then things lasted for centuries, what is the duration of our work today?
What will the future say of us?
